The Grow London Global, supported by the Mayor of London, is a 12-month program that enables London-based startups seeking to expand globally.
Grow London Global is facilitated by four prominent delivery partners dedicated to helping businesses succeed internationally. These partnerships grant your company access to expert guidance and advice on various practical matters, including commerce, finance, global human resources, legal issues, taxation, technology and digital solutions.
Participating in the Grow London initiative means your business can take part in organised international trade missions led by a team of seasoned business professionals. These missions are designed to offer in-depth insights into your target international market while tailoring their approach to meet the specific needs of the companies in the program.
Our company, OneSC, is honoured to have been selected as a member of the current cohort (Cohort 2).
Launched on 18th September, the program began with a passionate speech from Mr. Rajesh Agrawal, Deputy Mayor of London for Business. After which the program’s curated events, workshops and networking sessions began. We were intent to learn from the best, exchange ideas and form collaborations that could propel OneSC forward.
One of the advantages of participating in the program is the extensive network OneSC gained access to. We were able to connect with industry innovators such as Haleon (part of GSK), seasoned entrepreneurs and potential investors, all of whom were enthusiastic about fostering innovation in London.
The expert mentorship we received was instrumental in refining our business strategy, product development and market positioning. We learned much from Daniel Glazer (Wilson Sonsini), who shared insights and recommendations on how to enter US markets.
Our forthcoming initiative involves engaging with industry leaders such as Johnson and Johnson and investors like Touchdown Ventures. We are super excited to be engaging with JLABS, the innovation arm of Johnson and Johnson, in the upcoming US Trade Mission (23-27 Oct 2023). This collaboration presents an exciting opportunity to explore US-based pharma businesses and forge impactful partnerships overseas.
